Another failed attempt at HDR photographyWent out for blood donation today with Wei Jun. Guess what? Turns out we both "failed", Wei Jun was rejected as he was under medication and I was rejected cause my veins were to small. WTH..
Anyway, we went around headed towards City Hall area after that, taking random shots along the way. Wei Jun was looking for the price for his Tamron 17-50 f/2.8, and I wanted to get a filter for my lens. We ended up trying out the new D300s with both the f/1.8 and f/1.4 Nikkor 85mm lens. Wei Jun got caught the G.A.S. (gear acquisition syndrome), and I must say, so did I.

We met up with Jason and Chun Fu later in the afternoon to... do nothing actually, we just walked around town. Mr KBT decided to join us afterwards, and we decided to check out Orchard Central.

The view from one of the external escalators of Orchard Central.Orchard Central was quite cool, the super long escalators on the outside reminded me of roller coaster rides, the part where they bring the car up to the highest point of the ride. We played (or rather Wei Jun did, we watched) Guitar Hero 5 at some game shop and then walked around looking for food.
