Well, I really want to get one...

Inside of Love

Inside of Love

watching terrible tv
it kills all thoughts
Getting spacier than
An astronaut
Making out with people
I hardly know or like
I can't believe what i do
Late at night

I wanna know what it's like
On the inside of love
I'm standing at the gates
I see the beauty above

Only when we get to see
The aerial view
Will the patterns show
We'll know what to do
I know the last page so well
I can't read the first
So i just don't start
It's getting worse
[chorus]
I wanna know what it's like
On the inside of love
I'm standing at the gates
I see the beauty above

I wanna know what it's like
On the inside of love
I can't find my way in
I try again and again

I'm on the outside of love
Always under or above
I can't find my way in
I try again and again

I'm on the outside of love
Always under or above
Must be a different view
To be a me with a you

I wanna know what it's like
On the inside of love
I'm standing at the gates
I see the beauty above

I wanna know what it's like
On the inside of love
Of course i'll be alright
I just had a bad night

Chase Jarvis TECH: Complete Workflow for Photo and Video

Ryan showed me this video a few days ago. It's really great for anyone who would like an idea of how a SAFE and proper production workflow should be. Emphasis on the word "safe", Chase's workflow is as good as fail proof, almost a 0% possibility of data loss. Just watch the video and you'll know what I mean. Enjoy!

Confirmation Camp 2010

My second time shooting for confirmation camp at St Anne's. I did photography for this year's camp alone, which was... boring. Yup.

On a side note, during Edmund's session where he mentioned that this would be his 7th time doing the session during con camp, it dawned on me that I've actually heard the session 5 out of the 7 times. OMG, am I getting old or what? I've been part of confirmation camp all the way since 2005 when I got confirmed, and have only missed the 2008 camp. That being said, I'm still not close to the people at church. HAHAHA.

Okay, moving on... Here are photos, they're not very good, but I try.

Finally, thanks to Wei Jun for loaning me your 70-300mm! It wasn't easy to use, but I had fun trying it out. It renewed my faith in the high ISO range of my D90.
Ok, that's all, CHAO outside!

Pre-Confirmation Camp happenings

Went to shoot a sunset time lapse of St Annes' Church for the Confirmation Camp video. I had the honour of having Lun Tat accompany me throughout the entire hour or so camping in front of the church entrance.

Yup, my first attempt at time lapse. Thanks to Ryan for loaning me the tripod. Met up with Jason, Jieying, and Chun Fu after that for dinner.

Budget lomo cam effect using chocolate sundae cover.
Confirmation camp was... not bad. Will post photos soon.

HK Film

I realised the previous post was kind of a photo spam. Anyway, that's not going to stop me from posting more, here are photos from my FM2 of my post-grad trip to HK.

And we never give up...

SerSq shows support!

Went to watch Lun Tat's percussion ensemble's performance at NYP the night before our flight to HK. It was really fun and entertaining, oh, and the performance was good too.

And I didn't sleep that night, had to wake up at 3:30am to catch our 6:30am flight.

To Hong Kong!

It's been almost a month since we went to Hong Kong. I miss the days where we woke up to NBA playoff games live, then having to walk great distances just to find a nice breakfast place. The food was expensive, but the portions were huge.

Okay, time for photos.

Lun Tat didn't bring any HKD so we spent half of our first day looking out for money changers.

Our GPS for the trip. Oh, and treasurer too!

Looking for a place to have our first meal.

And we finally found one after 20 minutes of aimlessly wandering around Mong Kok.

Mmmm nom nom nom nom...

After lunch, we made our way to The Peak and Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.

Taking a break outside the Peak, the weather was awesome, it was like "air-con" outdoors

Day Two, off to see the giant Buddha.

We took an uber long cable car ride up.

We came from all the way down there, see the furthest island?

A super cool looking dog.

Jason and his stupid face.

And stay tuned for photos from the FM2!
